Exporting pics from the Sony Digital camera was way too complicated for this simple but necessary step. The cord supplied uses lots of battery power and for me, it's only use will be the video and audio outputs from recorded MPEGS. I had another memory stick adaptor, GE's Memory Stick USB but it also was made to accept other memory cards KINGSTON FLASH MEMORY and getting the Memory Stick Duo RAM card took many attempts for a good connection. The IOGEAR is simple, sleek and the memory stick slides in good and firm. Sony's software recognizes it and loads automatically. Best solution! I would recommend it highly.

The Sony 4 GB memory stick KINGSTON FLASH MEMORY is a fake. When I pulled it up with my USB it only said there was 1.60 GB available, meaning there is supposed to be at least 3.40 GB more of free space on it. This is the first and last time I'll purchase anything from this seller.

I bought at least 5 MS card readers in the pass 3 years and only this one works and last. Dont buy the cheap readers for a couple of KINGSTON FLASH MEMORY from ebay. Those are all made from china and will only work max 10 times. The quality is so poor that something always break out of the package. Pay a bit more and get a long lasting product plus less stressful when using a product that doesnt work.

I was afraid to get this product because I have never heard of the name brand before but it works great...and it's fast. Unfortunately, if you have an (2 years or older)older computer with a SD card slot, there is a good chance that it wont be able to read from the card KINGSTON FLASH MEMORY . However, all of the newer PC's should have no problem. I bought it for my Nikon D60 camara and I am very happy with its performance. I recommend it to anyone that needs extra storage.
